One line for today

Follow the lamp of His word today, one step at a time, even without feeling it

Three meals

Morning · Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

Some days you feel it strongly, and other days you feel nothing at all. What matters isn't the size of the feeling, but taking one step of obedience in response to God's word today. God lights up the path you need to walk right now, more than all the distant roads of the future.

Noon · When you feel God's presence strongly, what really matters?

Long-held resentment and pride, hidden greed, and repeated habits may come to light. But the Holy Spirit shows us our sin not to condemn us, but to call us to repentance and restoration. Today, try honestly admitting before God the one thing you'd rather keep hidden.

Evening · When you feel God's presence strongly, what really matters?

But the fact that God is with you can start to loom larger than the problem itself. True peace isn't the illusion that "there are no problems at all" — it's the faith that says, "even with problems, I can walk together with God." Let today's sense of presence carry over into tomorrow's honesty, love, and obedience.

Prayer for the day

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path today. Whether I feel it strongly or not, help me take the one step of obedience You set before me, and let Your holiness show me my own heart honestly. May the sin You reveal lead not to condemnation but to repentance and restoration, and may I walk in peace with You even when problems remain. Let today's small obedience grow into tomorrow's love and honesty. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
