Scripture
One line for today
The Bible isn't a book of lessons—it's the story pointing to Jesus.
Three meals
Morning · Scripture Is a Story That Testifies About Jesus
The whole of Scripture tells one great story: God saving people who are broken by sin, in and through Jesus.
As you read today's passage, don't just ask, "What should I do?" Ask also, "What does this passage show me about God and about Jesus?"
Noon · Why Is the Bible a Book About Jesus?
At the center of it all is not human greatness, but God's faithfulness.
When the people in Scripture fail, that doesn't mean God's plan fails too. The same is true for our lives.
Even when a scene in your life looks dark right now, God hasn't finished writing the story yet.
Evening · Why Is the Bible a Book About Jesus?
Every day we hear stories saying that money gives us worth, that success earns us approval, that we should live only for ourselves.
But Scripture tells a different story: that we were made in the image of God, and that in the cross and resurrection of Jesus we have received new life.
Today, let's look at our lives not through the world's standards, but within God's great story.
Prayer for the day
Heavenly Father, thank You for showing us this morning that Scripture is not merely a collection of good lessons but a story testifying to Jesus. At noon, thank You for reminding us that even when people in the Bible failed, Your faithfulness never did. This evening, help us see our lives not through the world's false stories but through our identity as Your image-bearers, made new in Jesus' cross and resurrection. Lord, let us live today within Your great story of redemption, and let our community encourage one another within it. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
